About Skiers Chalet Lodge
TELEMIX LIFT
A Telemix Lift, which features gondola cars and chairs, will load passengers 500 feet lower than Lift 1A at approximately the same location as the original Lift 1, just a few feet from Dean Street.
Skiers Chalet Lodge
Skiers Chalet Lodge will be located adjacent to the new Telemix Lift and feature 27 fractional residences, and 6 whole-ownership residences. Amenities include a restaurant and bar, roof deck pool and bar, spa, fitness center, and ski shop.
Historic SKIERS CHALET STEAKHOUSE
The Skiers Chalet Steakhouse will be refurbished and reopened as a restaurant and bar with outdoor seating that looks upon historic Lift 1 and the new Telemix Lift.
Historic SKIERS CHALET
The historic Skiers Chalet building will be moved down the hill to Dean Street, where it will be refurbished and become home to an Aspen Ski History Museum curated and managed by the Aspen Historical Society. The building will also provide public locker facilities and an Aspen Skiing Company ticketing office.
HISTORIC LIFT 1
The original Lift 1 bullwheel, tower, and chair and will be prominently displayed at the corner of Dean Street and S. Aspen Street highlighting Aspen’s proud history as an innovative ski resort.
PARKS AND OPEN SPACE
Dolinsek Gardens will feature naturally landscaped gardens and is part of more than 2 acres of park space. During the summer there will be direct access to the network of hiking trails on Aspen Mountain.
PARKING
The underground parking garage includes 126 parking spaces of which 50 are available to the public.
DEAN STREET
Dean Street will be redeveloped as a pedestrian-friendly street with dedicated bicycle lanes and new sidewalks.
SKI RACING AND EVENTS
A new racing finish area will help return the excitement and tradition of ski racing, including possible future World Cups, back to Aspen. Other area improvements will provide new opportunities for events to happen year-round.
